Lumière Labs
Clinical Skincare, Backed by Science
Lumière Labs was founded by a team of formulation chemists who left larger cosmetics companies to build skincare without shortcuts - every serum and oil is developed in-house, tested for stability at real-world concentrations, and published with the exact percentage of active ingredient on the label. No proprietary blends hiding weak doses. The lab publishes its clinical trial summaries publicly and reformulates a product the moment better-tolerated actives become available.

Vellum Beauty
Modern Makeup, Made to Last
Vellum Beauty builds makeup around one obsession: wear-time. Every foundation, lipstick, and complexion product is tested for a full twelve-hour day before it ships, across forty shade-matched skin tones so no one gets left with an approximate match. The brand's small color lab mixes every shade in-house rather than licensing a generic palette, which is why Vellum's undertone range is unusually precise for its size.

Noir & Co.
Artisan Perfumery
Noir & Co. is a small independent perfume house working out of a single studio in Grasse, where its perfumer composes every scent from raw naturals and a tight library of molecules rather than buying pre-blended accords. The house releases only two or three fragrances a year, each one aged for months before launch, and refuses to reformulate for cost - if a natural absolute gets more expensive, the price of the bottle moves, not the formula.

Rivage
Salon-Grade Haircare
Rivage was started by a working colorist who was tired of recommending salon-only haircare that customers could never actually buy. Every shampoo, conditioner, and treatment is formulated at the same concentration used in-salon, sold direct so there is no markup for a retail middleman. The brand tests each formula on color-treated hair first, since that is the hardest condition to get right without stripping tone.

Solene
Tools for the Ritual
Solene makes the tools that sit beside the products everyone else talks about - brushes, rollers, and applicators designed by makeup artists and estheticians who spend all day using them professionally. Every brush is hand-tied in small batches and tested for shedding across a thousand washes before it's approved; every stone tool is cut from a single verified source, not the mixed-origin stone common in the category.
